The Water Festival, which coincides with the feast day of Saint John the Baptist, is celebrated every June 24 all over the country.

The festivity full of culture and old-school fun will lead by Mayor Totie Paredes, Vice Mayor Denver Reyes Chua, and Councilor Ian Barron.

They are expected to open the program with the cheerful “Chavacano” greeting “Viva Regada,” as the historic city is one of the many influenced by the Spanish culture and language during Spain’s occupation of the country.
