Sharp Philippines has successfully completed its Corporate Social Responsibility Program of providing washing machines to communities across Metro Manila, marking a significant milestone as the company celebrates the production of its 11-millionth washing machine.
Sharp provided 5 washers, 5 dryers, and 1 twin-tub washing machine to 17 areas in Metro Manila, with the units being turned over to local government offices.
These appliances will be used in evacuation centers and community programs, providing a clean clothes for families during emergencies.
With the completion of this project phase in Luzon, Sharp Philippines is already planning to extend its support to the Visayas and Mindanao regions. The company were proud to contribute to the well-being of communities and are committed to continue making a meaningful impact by supporting local governments and Filipino families in times of need.
