Renowned musician Bruno Mars and pop icon Lady Gaga have announced their collaboration on a new single entitled “Die with a Smile.”
The singers shared the news on their Instagram pages, revealing the single’s cover, which features them in vibrant blue outfits with red accents. The look seems to pay homage to country music icons from the ’60s, with Lady Gaga sporting blonde curls and a cigarette, while Bruno Mars wears a white cowboy hat and gold belt buckle.
“While you wait for LG7… ‘DIE WITH A SMILE,’ a duet with @brunomars,” Lady Gaga wrote in her post, teasing her upcoming seventh studio album.
The collaboration had been highly anticipated among fans, who had noticed the pair wearing each other’s merchandise T-shirts on Instagram in the days leading up to the announcement.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting new music, as Lady Gaga’s last album, Chromatica, was released in 2020, and Bruno Mars’ previous solo album, 24K Magic, came out in 2016, winning various Grammy Awards in 2018.
“Die with a Smile” is available on all streaming platforms, with the music video available on Lady Gaga’s official YouTube channel.
