With the onslaught of the typhoon leaving many families struggling to recover, many have joined the call to help those in need. One of these individuals is the recently crowned Miss World Philippines 2024, Krishnah Gravidez.
Joining the charity organization Colors of Kindness, Gravidez helped provide 150 relief packs to the residents of Centella, Brgy. San Isidro in Montalban, Rizal, who experienced floods reaching the roofs of most houses due to Typhoon Carina.
In a post shared on Instagram, the organization expressed gratitude for the donations they received, which allowed them to distribute relief packs to the flood victims. The packs included rice, canned goods, noodles, and pet food.
“Thank you so much to all of our sponsors for lending a hand, especially in these trying times. Let’s keep each other in our prayers, and may we never tire of showing our colors of kindness,” the organization said in its post’s caption.
The organization also thanked the Brgy. San Isidro Montalban, Rizal LGU, and the Centella Homes HOA for their assistance in distributing the relief packs to the typhoon victims.
