Philippine National Police spokesperson Col. Jean Fajardo told reporters in an ambush interview that they now have under custody Pastor Quiboloy and his four aides — Jackielyn Roy, Ingrid Canada, Cresente Canada, and Sylvia Cemanes.
She also said that negotiations for their peaceful surrender started at 1:30 p.m. when the police gave them an ultimatum to surrender within 24 hours.
“This was a joint effort of the PNP and the AFP,” Fajardo said.
She also said that Quiboloy and the rest of fugitives surrendered at 5:30 p.pm and were flown to Manila at 6:30 p.m.
They arrived at Camp Crame at 8:30 p.m. and immediately underwent the booking process, including the taking of mugshots and fingerprints as we as medical and physical examinations.”
