Solaire North reports growing foot traffic

Solaire North, the second integrated casino and resort of Bloomberry Resorts Corp., is ramping up its operations amid a steady increase in foot traffic.

Solaire communications and public relations director Joy Wassmer said in an interview Solaire North which opened in June had been seeing “good foot traffic” particularly for non-gaming component of the business like food and beverage and hotel.

Wassmer said all restaurants were fully-packed, and guests wanting to eat at its buffet restaurant would need advance reservations.

The 200 of the 526 hotel rooms are now operational, with rates starting at P27,000 per night. The deluxe guest rooms range from 42 to 49 square meters.

“We hope to seek more people in the gaming floor, but for now, it’s mostly on the food and beverage,” Wassmer said.

“We are taking one day at a time to see how the markets are doing to adapt to what we have. So far, food and beverage looks promising,” Wassmer said.

Wassmer said Solaire North has been attracting residents from Quezon City and Caloocan as well as from nearby provinces outside Metro Manila like Bulacan, Pampanga and Baguio.

Solaire North has 14 dining outlets, three of which are Solaire’s signature brands. These are Red Lantern, which is best known for its authentic Chinese delicacies from various regions of China; Yakumi, that serves an array of traditional Japanese staples, omakase and seafood exclusively sourced from Tokyo’s Toyosu market; and Finestra Italian Steakhouse which presents perfectly grilled steaks.

A key highlight of the property is its upscale events venues finished using the most exquisite interior décor and furnishings.

The grand ballroom can fit about 1,300 guests with concert-style seating and can be partitioned to become three different halls.

All function rooms can accommodate any banquet requirements and are fitted with technologically advanced audio and visual equipment for the best and most immersive experience.

Standing on 1.5 hectares, the 38-story Solaire North is a $1-billion development of Bloomberry, the hotel and casino business of businessman Enrique Razon Jr.
