LINGAYEN—The Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Pangasinan unanimously passed a resolution commending Secretary Raul L. Lambino for his notable contributions that propelled the development of his home province.
Lambino served as Presidential Adviser for Northern Luzon and concurrently as Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) under the administration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Authored by SP Member Vici M. Ventanilla and co-authored by all SP members, Provincial Resolution No. 569-2022 was passed and approved during SP’s regular session on June 27, 2022.
“The Sangguniang Panlalawigan fully acknowledges the tireless efforts of Secretary Lambino for the adoption of a coordinated approach with national government agencies, local government units, and economic planners for the establishment of economic zones in order to realize growth and transformation in the localities,” the resolution stated.
Board Member Ventanilla explained that it is just proper to give recognition to Secretary Lambino “because he is the only Cabinet member under the Duterte administration who has concurrently held two top-level positions with distinction.”
“Aside from the numerous high-impact projects he delivered to
Pangasinan, Secretary Lambino also brought pride and honor to our
beloved province,” Ventanilla added.
Lambino, who hails from Mangaldan and Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, is a recipient of Gawad Parangal given by President Duterte on June 15, 2022, in recognition of his contribution and performance as a public servant
