Appliance brand gives back to the community through choral competition

Beko, a leading European appliance brand, demonstrated its commitment to community support and youth empowerment by backing one of the Philippines’ longest-running church-based choral events.

The 9th Himig ng Kabataan, Alay Kay Don Bosco Choral Competition 2024, held in conjunction with the 43rd anniversary of St. John Bosco Parish Church Makati, showcases vocal talent from across the country and raises awareness of St. John Bosco’s teachings.

Beko gave more than 1,000 cups of coffee during the event

As a co-presenter of the event, Beko sponsored cash prizes for the winners and set up an interactive booth featuring live demonstrations of their espresso machines and coffee makers. The booth served over 1,000 cups of coffee and provided informational flyers about Beko’s range of home solutions.

The Gloria Patri Singers won the grand champion title, receiving a P100,000 cash prize and the Best Song Rendition award. The Inmaculada Concepcion de Malolos Chamber Singers secured second place with P50,000, while The Vennekreds took third place with P30,000. The Dominic Savio Youth Choir earned the People’s Choice Award.
