Rhowell “Bornok” Mangosong, also known as “The King of the Philippine Motocross Industry,” joined the Philippine Army Reserve.
In light of this, the 4th Field Artillery Battalion (4FAB) recently had the honor of hosting a Meet and Greet Activity for Mangosong in Cagayan de Oro City.
As a bona fide member of the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NMSSA) of the Philippines, he brought a unique perspective and enthusiasm to the event.
“Mr. Mangosong is very optimistic about joining the reserve force in such a way that he could extend his service to the public and encourage the youth to be more active in sports,” stated 4FAB.
According to the unit, individuals from all walks of life are welcome to join the 1st (Mis Or) Ready Reserve Field Artillery Battery as part of the reserve component of 4FAB.
Some members of this newly organized reserve battery hail from different provinces in the CARAGA region and are eager to render military service as part of the reserve force.
“The unit is deeply appreciative of Mr. Mangosong’s presence and looks forward to potential future collaborations and events. His involvement is a testament to the battalion’s commitment to building relationships and fostering camaraderie with individuals from diverse backgrounds and industries,” said the unit.
