Pupils from West City Elementary School emerged as the Charter Anniversary Inter-School Folk Dance Competition champions. The rains did not deter the young dancers from performing the traditional dances to the delight of their supporters. Dinno T. Depositario, Convenor of the 75th Charter Anniversary Directorate, conferred the awards to the winning contingents of the night, namely West City Elementary School (Champion), Metro Dumaguete College (2nd Place), and Dumaguete City National High School (3rd Place). The organizers also expressed their appreciation to the dance troupes of Piapi High School and Camanjac National High School for their commendable participation.
