Xiaomi seized the opportunity to provide durable and efficient tech solutions to the Tropical Storm Kristine-affected community in the province
Xiaomi Philippines, in partnership with WorldVision, has recently completed this year’s Xiaomi Renovation Program, which focused on supporting Bula Elementary School in Camarines Sur, severely damaged by Tropical Storm Kristine.
The severe tropical storm’s destructive force left the school without essential learning tools like notebooks, chairs, and computers. Recognizing the urgent need for technological solutions, Xiaomi stepped in to provide durable and efficient tech products that would help the school and its students recover and thrive.
The Xiaomi Renovation Program is a global contest where fans can get a chance to receive a free home makeover and upgrade with Xiaomi’s AIoT products. However, due to the severe damage dealt by the typhoon, Xiaomi Philippines decided to take the opportunity this year to help Bula Elementary School instead.
The Xiaomi Renovation Program transformed Bula Elementary School into a modern learning environment equipped with Xiaomi TVs, Xiaomi 14 phones, Redmi Pad SE 8.7, LED monitors, and vacuum cleaners. All of these devices go a long way in enhancing multimedia learning and provide access to educational content.
By providing these essential tools, Xiaomi aims to empower students and teachers, fostering a more engaging and effective learning experience. This initiative aligns with Xiaomi’s commitment to smart living and its belief in the power of technology to improve lives.
“We are honored to contribute to the recovery efforts in Bicol with this year’s Xiaomi Renovation Program,” said Tomi Adrias, Head of Marketing at Xiaomi Philippines. “Education is the key to a brighter future, and we hope that our donations will help and inspire students to reach their full potential.”
