In anticipation of the back-to-school season this July, Nvidia Philippines activated a promotional campaign featuring its GeForce RTX GPUs at the SM Makati Cyberzone on Tuesday, June 18.

During an exclusive interview, Nvidia Philippines Consumer Lead Jerome Matti confirmed that Nvidia’s GeForce RTX GPUs will be a great area of demand within the Philippine market as Generative AI tasks and AI-assisted digital content creation require more horsepower.

John Gillooly, Nvidia Asia Pacific South – Senior Technical Marketing Manager, demonstrates the latest features of the GeForce 40 series.

“The biggest growth drivers right now are our RTX AI PCs. This is good for direct consumers, gamers and content creators,” he said. “With all the new applications coming out utilizing AI, RTX AI PCs will make it faster.”

Some of these applications include Nvidia’s Broadcast app for video conferencing with noise removal and virtual background functionality, and the ChatRTX demo app which serves as a personalized private chatbot for users.

In comparison to a conventional laptop without a GeForce RTX laptop GPU, Nvidia’s RTX AI PCs can train AI models 30 times faster, put out eight times higher frames per second (FPS), and generate images 13 times faster.

These laptops are designed with Nvidia’s Max-Q Technology, a suite of AI-backed technologies that simultaneously optimizes a laptop’s performance, power, and acoustics to achieve high-performance and quiet devices with extended battery life.

During the showcase, computer retailer PC Express highlighted its GeForce RTX 40 series laptops which are bundled with printers, vouchers, and other gaming gear for every purchase.
