The EJ6 features a sophisticated six-in-one motor system, providing full-time electric power with two distinct powertrain options. The rear motor variant offers 135 kW and 220 Nm of torque, while the all-wheel drive model boasts an impressive total output of 205 kW and 385 Nm thanks to an additional front motor. With an 80 kW fast-charging battery, the EJ6 can recharge from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes and includes V2L (vehicle to load) functionality for added versatility.

The SUV is available in two variants: Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD). The RWD version utilizes a single motor paired with a 65.69 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, enabling a maximum range of 421 km on a single charge. The AWD variant, equipped with dual motors and a larger 69.77 kWh battery, also achieves a range of 421 km, ensuring robust performance on diverse terrains.

It features a 9.2-inch instrument panel and a 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor. Additional amenities include a 50-watt Qi wireless charger, a panoramic glass roof, and an optional 12-speaker Infinity sound system.

The EJ6’s distinct boxy design is complemented by an all-aluminum body, making it both lightweight and robust. With dimensions of 4,406 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,715 mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 2,715 mm, the SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds, showcasing its sporty capabilities.

Marco Chen, Country Director of OMODA and JAECOO Philippines, expressed enthusiasm for the launch: “We are excited to introduce another innovation that reflects JAECOO’s global automotive engineering DNA. The arrival of the EJ6 in the Philippines is a significant step towards ushering in a new era of sustainable mobility in the country.”

Potential buyers can test drive and pre-order the EJ6 and its sister model, the OMODA E5, at the 12th Electric Vehicle Summit, which runs until October 26 at Booth R07 in the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
