The V-League Collegiate Challenge 2024 is set to begin on Sunday, July 28, with a thrilling lineup of matches to ignite the tournament.
The action will unfold at Paco Arena in Manila, with games scheduled every Sunday and Wednesday throughout the elimination rounds.
The tournament opener will feature a women’s clash at 10:00 a.m. as the UAAP runner-up University of Santo Tomas (UST) takes on the NCAA third-placer Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU).
Following this, the high noon game will be an encounter between the NCAA runner-up Colegio de San Juan de Letran and the University of the Philippines (UP).
The day’s schedule will conclude with men’s games: De La Salle University (DLSU) will face off against Letran at 3:00 p.m., while Ateneo de Manila University will go head-to-head with Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) to wrap up the day’s action.
The excitement continues on Wednesday, July 31, as the UAAP champions in both men’s and women’s divisions, National University (NU), begin their respective campaigns.
The NU Bulldogs will start their quest against the NCAA kings, Perpetual Altas, at 10:00 a.m., while the NU Lady Bulldogs will battle the FEU Lady Tamaraws at 3:00 p.m.
As the tournament progresses, the top four teams from each division will advance to the best-of-three semifinals. The first seed will face the fourth seed, and the second seed will take on the third seed.
The Finals, also a best-of-three series, will determine the champions.
The playoffs will be held at Ninoy Aquino Stadium, Rizal Memorial Coliseum, and Philsports Arena.
