The teaser of the highly anticipated Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean series “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” has been dropped.
Starring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, the video streaming app Viu posted on Monday a 30-second teaser of its first episode, which will be exclusively available on Viu
Earlier this month, Viu announced that the series is finally arriving this March.
“Keep your eyes peeled! We are about to let you in on ABS-CBN Studios and Viu’s highly anticipated collaboration project for 2024! To be produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, #ViuOriginalAdaptation #WhatsWrongWithSecretaryKimPH starring #KimChiu and #PauloAvelino is coming this March exclusively on Viu!” the post said.
Kim and Paulo will take on the iconic roles of Secretary Kim and Mr. Vice-Chairman, respectively, originally played by Park Min-young and Park Seo-joon.
The story of Mr. Vice Chairman and Secretary Kim will begin with the latter announcing her resignation from her position turning the former’s perfect world upside down.
More hilarious office antics and swoon-worthy romance will then captivate audiences worldwide as the series unfolds and reveals more characters. The Filipino reimagining promises to deliver the same heart-fluttering fun with a local twist.
The release date has not yet been announced as of writing.
“What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?” will also star Jake Cuenca, Janice de Belen, Romnick Sarmenta, Angeline Quinto, Pepe Herrera, Franco Laurel, Yves Flores, Gillian Vicencio, Kaori Oinuma, JC Alcantara, Cai Cortez, Phi Palmos, and Kat Galang.
