K-pop idol Kang Daniel is set to headline the second day of inaugural Waterbomb Festival in the Philippines, organizers announced on Monday, Dec. 2.
A local adaptation of South Korea’s iconic Waterbomb Festival, the highly anticipated event will be held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila on Feb. 22 and 23, 2025.
Kang Daniel, the former center of the now-disbanded boy group Wanna One and one of K-pop’s most prominent solo artists, is scheduled to perform on February 23.
This announcement marks the first artist revealed for the festival. Organizers have also teased the addition of “Korean hip-hop legends” to the lineup, though their identities remain undisclosed.
The original Waterbomb Festival in South Korea is renowned for its unique blend of live music performances and interactive water fights, a tradition that will be brought to the Philippine version of the event.
