Singer Adele announced the postponement of March dates for her Las Vegas residency, “Weekends with Adele,” due to illness. In a social media post, she explained being sick at the end of the last leg and unable to fully recover during her break.
“I haven’t fully recovered before shows resumed, and now I’m sick again, taking a toll on my voice,” Adele stated.
Doctors advised vocal rest, necessitating the postponement of the remaining five March weekends of the residency. New dates are being finalized and will be communicated soon.
The postponed dates are March 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, and 30.
“Weekends with Adele,” held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, is Adele’s first residency. It began on November 18, 2022, after a January 2022 postponement due to COVID-19 within her team. Each weekend features two shows, concluding on June 15, 2024 (originally planned for March 2023).
The residency showcases a 20-song setlist, mainly featuring songs from her albums “21” and “30.”
Adele rose to fame with debut album “19” hits like “Chasing Pavements” and “Make You Feel My Love.” She continued her success with “Rolling in the Deep,” “Someone Like You,” and “Set Fire to the Rain” from “21,” which won numerous Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year.
