The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) Manila Office will host the Korea Travel Fiesta 2024 on Sept. 7 and 8 in Makati City to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and South Korea.

The event will take place at the Glorietta Activity Center and Palm Drive Activity Center from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day.

The two-day celebration will highlight South Korea’s tourism and culture, offering activities such as trying on traditional Hanbok and Korean school uniforms, writing in Hangeul, and dancing to K-pop hits.

Visitors can also take advantage of exclusive discounts on flights and tour packages, including a $75 discount on select tours.

K-Pop star Xiumin from EXO and Korean OST singer Punch will headline the opening ceremony on Sept. 7. Additional performances by WOLF’LO, a K-dance team from Street Woman Fighter 2, and CHEF, a K-performance group, are scheduled throughout the event.

Other highlights include special event appearances by Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, KTO’s Honorary Ambassador for Korea Family Tourism in the Philippines, at the Family Travel Talk Show, and Running Man Philippines celebrity runners Glaiza De Castro, Kokoy De Santos, and Buboy Villar guesting at the Korea Winter Travel Talk Show.

The festivities will conclude with a Closing Ceremony featuring the popular Filipino singer Maki.
