‘Encantadia’ returns to Viu PhilippinesThe popular 2016 series Encantadia is back on Viu Philippines starting Aug. 12. The show stars Marian Rivera as Ynang Reyna Mine-a, Glaiza de Castro as Pirena, Sanya Lopez as Danaya, Gabbi Garcia as Alena, Kylie Padilla as Amihan, and John Arcilla as Hagorn.
Set in the magical land of Encantadia, the series features four royal sisters, called Sang’gres, who each protect a gemstone representing fire, air, water, and earth. Although the sisters are close, a conflict arises when Pirena’s desire for power causes trouble. Herfather, Hagorn, a dark sorcerer, plans to use the gemstones to take over Encantadia.
