South Korean acoustic-folk indie sensation 10cm is set to bring his soulful melodies closer to his Filipino fans in the 10cm Closer to You concert on Aug. 31 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
Known offstage as Kwon Jung-yeol, 10cm has lent his voice to numerous beloved K-Drama moments. His hits include “Drawer” from Our Beloved Summer, “But It’s Destiny” from Crash Landing on You, “Where is Dream” from Start-up, “Lean on Me” from Hotel del Luna, and “My Eyes” from Goblin.
10cm’s latest track is “Tell Me It’s Not A Dream,” featured in the record-breaking tvN drama Queen of Tears.
Since embarking on a solo career in 2017, following the departure of his former bandmate, Kwon Jung-yeol has continued to enchant listeners with his distinctive acoustic sound and heartfelt lyrics.
