Miss World 2023 Krystyna Pyszkova made a striking appearance at a press conference held at the World Grand Westside Hotel on Wednesday. The 25-year-old Czech beauty, who was seen in an elegant pink dress, is on her second visit to Manila and was welcomed by Miss World Philippines national director Arnold Vegafria.
Pyszkova, who resembles Catriona Gray, arrived in the city on Tuesday with Julia Morley, Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organization. Their visit includes attending the Miss World Philippines 2024 coronation night and advancing the MWO’s ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ charity mission in the Philippines.
Currently pursuing law at Charles University in Prague and management at MCI Management Center in Innsbruck, Pyszkova expressed a strong interest in exploring more of the country. She shared her passion for education, noting that it is her main advocacy.
“Education is closest to my heart. I started several years ago by raising funds to build a school in Tanzania, Africa. With the Miss World Organization, I hope we can expand these efforts,” Pyszkova said.
In addition to her charitable work, Pyszkova addressed questions about her future in entertainment.
“After my reign as Miss World, I will stay committed to my foundation in the Czech Republic. However, I am also open to opportunities in entertainment. Modeling is one of my hobbies and talents, so if any movie offers come my way, I am definitely interested,” she added.
