ILAGAN City– The non-government organization Go Wow of Isabela’s second legislative district marked last week its 13th year with a Christmas party at the Capital Arena with Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar as keynote speaker.
Villar emphasized the crucial role of every woman in the community, emphasizing the importance of women in society and serving as the foundation for families that contribute considerably to community development.
“The role played by women is valued, and we are brave and resilient no matter what challenges come our way,” Villar stressed.
On the other hand, Isabela 2nd District Rep. Ed Christopher Go delivered a motivational message to the GO Wow officers and members, highlighting the significance of empowering women to build a brighter future for everybody.
Go also thanked Senator Mark Villar for the P50-million assistance for the ongoing development of an arena complex in San Mariano town and with additional sum committed for the project.
Meanwhile, former congresswoman Ana Cristina Go, founding president of GO WoW and incumbent chairperson of the Nagkaisang Magsasaka ng Isabela Agriculture Cooperative (NMIAC), thanked her son, Rep. Ed Christopher Go, for his unwavering support to the organization.
GO Wow was launched in 2011 with more than 40,000 members in the municipalities of Benito Soliven, Gamu, Naguillan, Reina Mercedes, San Mariano, and Palanan.
