A total of 48 families were subjected to pre-emptive evacuation in Region due to the effects of Southwest monsoon or habagat in Mindanao.
In the latest NDRRMC situational report, a total of 219 persons and individuals and eight houses amounting to 1.9 million pesos were reportedly damaged due to the said weather phenomenon.
Communication lines and water supply in the said region is still affected while four cities and municipalities’ power lines remain interrupted.
Five roads and one bridge were also not passable in the region, according to NDRRMC.
To date, a total of 11, 785 persons in Region 9 were affected.
