CAVITE CITY — Mayor Denver Chua announced the city government’s top 10 legacy projects during the opening of the year 2026, highlighting programs focused on health, education, sports, tourism, and technological advancement.
Chua said the projects reflect long-term programs designed to directly benefit Cavite City residents and show how taxpayers’ money is being utilized.
Among the projects are the Cavite City State University Sea Breeze campus, a play park, aviary and chess hub at Samonte Park, a new tennis court and clubhouse, an animal center, and a new barangay multipurpose hall.
Also included are the Unlad Mobile Clinic, a new Sangley Point National High School building, solar street lights along major roads, and free WiFi in strategic areas of the city. Dennis Abrina
The mayor added that more projects are in the pipeline, including improvements and additional facilities at the city hospital to reduce the need for residents to seek medical services outside Cavite City.
