Members of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) condemned the statements made by Vice President Sara Duterte against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos in an official statement published on Sunday morning.
“We reject all forms of violence, threats, or actions that jeopardize the safety of our people and the stability of our nation,” the statement read.
According to the PFP, VP Duterte’s statements are “deeply alarming,” undermining the rule of law and fostering a culture of lawlessness and impunity.
“Such rhetoric has no place in a democracy, in a Bagong Pilipinas that values accountability, peace, and order,” it asserted.
The political party called for unity among leaders, urging them to prioritize collective interests over personal agendas, and reminded public servants to embody humility, discipline, and accountability in their actions.
“We reaffirm our unwavering support for the administration of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., trusting that under his leadership, democracy, the rule of law, and national progress will prevail,” PFP said.
