Manila Water Co. Inc. encourages the public to enjoy the exciting outdoor activities that La Mesa Ecopark has to offer.

La Mesa Ecopark in Novaliches, Quezon City is considered one of the last lungs of Metro Manila because of its lush green forest that helps produce oxygen and aid in improving the city’s air quality, as well as preserve water source.

The ecopark has a capacity to receive 1,000 guests daily. Entrance is free for Quezon City residents (with government IDs or QCitizen cards), while non-Quezon City residents will be charged a minimal fee of P20.

Currently in Phase 1 of development, the ecopark features exciting outdoor activities such as wall climbing, rappelling, paintball games, and archery tag.

The park is also open for company teambuilding seminars, which should be precoordinated with the LME Management for safety and ease of facility use.

The park also offers a guided eco-tour and scheduled bird-watching activities. There is a viewing deck pavilion and a food park to hang out with friends and family.

Because of its scenic views, the park has also been a venue for prenuptial photo and commercial video shoots. Photo and video productions also require prior coordination with the LME Management.

“More and more people are visiting the park every day. As they enjoy the fun outdoor activities in the park, we hope they also appreciate the beauty of nature and take part in its preservation and rehabilitation. We’d also like to thank our partners, the MWSS and the Quezon City Government, for giving their valuable contributions to this project,” Manila Water corporate communication affairs group director Jeric Sevilla said.

Manila Water, in partnership with the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) and the Quezon City Government, opened the ecopark to double down on promoting environmental stewardship.

Under the supervision of the Manila Water Foundation, the management of the ecopark aims to contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs.
