Tourists entering Boracay Island via Tabon Port will now be required to pay environmental and terminal fees through the E-Boracay App.

This is according to an executive order issued by Mayor Frolibar Bautista, which mandates the use of the app for all tourists bound for Boracay.

The order specifically applies to those whose point of entry to the island is Tabon Port. The initiative is part of the local government’s efforts to implement an automated solution for fee collection, aimed at reducing congestion at the port terminal.

The executive order also directs the municipal treasurer to lead the implementation of the mandatory use of the E-Boracay App for collecting environmental and terminal fees.

Additionally, the Municipal Tourism Office and the Information Technology Department are tasked with assisting in the app’s implementation.

Personnel from the Department of Tourism will be deployed to enforce the use of the application.

To use the app, visitors must go to guest.eboracay.net on their phone or tablet browser, agree to the terms, and enter trip details such as arrival and departure dates, accommodation, mode of travel, and purpose of the visit.

After registration, they can pay the environmental fee online using VISA, GCash, or Maya. Upon confirmation, guests will receive a QR code to present to gate verifiers at the port.
