Police conducted three separate buy-bust operations in Taguig, Pasay, Paranaque, and Valenzuela, resulting in the arrest of seven individuals, six of whom were high-value targets.

The series of operations also led to the seizure of more than P3 million worth of shabu.

According to National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director Maj. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., these anti-narcotics operations are part of the continuing crackdown on drug dealing in Metro Manila.

The first operation took place in Barangay San Dionisio, Paranaque City, resulting in the arrest of June Valeza, 50, and Marlon Narteya, 30. The police recovered 275 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P1,870,000. Marked money, including a genuine 1000-peso bill incorporated in fake 1000-peso bills used in the entrapment, was also recovered from the suspects.

Five hours later, another entrapment was conducted in Barangay 193, Zone 20, Pasay, which led to the arrest of Crisanto Singo, also known as Boss, 50 years old, and the confiscation of 54.1 grams of shabu. Another high-value target, Edgardo Basas Jr. and his companion Mark Divinagracia, were arrested in Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig City. Seized from them were 100 grams of shabu, a blue pouch, and marked money used in the operation.

Another entrapment resulted in the arrest of Henrieto Entienza, also known as Boy Lupa, 37, and Glen Perciana, also known as Bukol, 43, in front of a school at Avocado Extension in Barangay Mapulang Lupa, Valenzuela City.

Fifty grams of shabu, one mobile phone, a coin pouch, and marked money were recovered from the suspects.

All the suspects are currently in police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

“Appropriate criminal charges are being prepared for filing against the suspects at the respective prosecutor’s office,” said Nartatez.

The NCRPO chief commended his team for their dedication and commitment to eradicating illegal drugs.

He emphasized the “arrests and seizures as a testament to Team NCRPO’s relentless dedication and teamwork in combating illegal drugs in the region.”

Nartatez affirms the commitment of the NCRPO to continuously combat all forms of criminality and safeguard the community from the detrimental effects of illegal drug activities.
