The Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) on Saturday announced it has completed its search operation inside the raided Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) hub in Porac, Pampanga.
In a news forum, PAOCC spokesperson Dr. Winston Casio said local authorities are now conducting an inventory after searching 46 buildings within the Lucky South 99 Compound.
“The CIDG and other units in the area will now inventory the items, which will be reported back to the court on Tuesday. We need to return the search warrant so the court can review what will be part of our evidence against the officials, officers, incorporators, and beneficial owners of Lucky South 99,” Casio explained.
Asked about potential charges against the operators within the POGO hub, the spokesperson said concerned government agencies would discuss and study the evidence seized by the authorities.
“The body is an inter-agency task force…it’s a very big body. So we meet on a regular basis every Thursday or Tuesday to appreciate the evidence on hand. And we decide as a group as to who and what, as to whom to be charged and what charges to be filed,” Casio said.
Local authorities recovered various items during the search operation, including cellphones, computers, torture devices, and documents allegedly linking former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.
