NutriAsia launches recipe community for millennials, Gen Z

Adulting has never been easy. Imagine, from being a carefree kid now transforming into a responsible, well-adjusted grownup juggling all the responsibilities—from managing finances or keeping a roof over your head to developing essential life skills like cooking healthy meals.

With these, many young adults today find themselves short on time in improving their cooking skills often leading to opt for takeout food that admittedly can drain budget.

To address this, local food company NutriAsia recently launched a recipe community called TasteTok PH on its TikTok account to help millennials and Gen Z provide themselves with good yet budget-friendly and easy-to-make food.

Known for being the go-to source of recipes, NutriAsia aims to provide the young ones with simple, quick, and delicious recipes for meals that can be prepared using kitchenware staples. TasteTok PH focuses on quick, healthy meals that anyone can make, even with minimal cooking skills, using NutriAsia’s convenient products.

“We understand the demands of modern life, and we strive to provide solutions that fit into the hectic schedules of these young adults. This is why we launched new NutriAsia products that are meant for easy-to-prepare recipes that align with the tastes of the young generation,” said James Lim, Corporate Marketing and Communications Head of NutriAsia.

During its initial launch, Lim emphasized how the younger generation looked for the simplest ways how they can survive every meal without any hassle or even just to satisfy their cravings.

“The way the younger generation now, iba na ‘yung way nila of cooking. Hindi na siya tulad ng millennial o Gen X na full luto na may rekados. During this fast-paced lifestyle, instant na siya or using appliances for another purpose. We want to tap this. For someone who really cooks, kailangan niya ng suka, toyo, patis, while others could just be a pouch of instant mixes and that’s something we want to honor,” he added.

Currently, TasteTok has already posted some of its recipes featuring NutriAsia’s easy-to-use products; the UFC Korean Fun Chow, which are rice mixes that come in Bulgogi, Bibimbap, and Kimchi flavors; UFC Oppa Mixes, an all-purpose Korean-style meat sauce used for glazing, dipping, or marinading; Datu Puti Adobo Series, a first-in-the-market assortment of savory adobo sauces; and UFC Overload, an all-in-one, heat-and-serve sauce overloaded with real ingredients.

These special kitchen mixes go into the making of crave-worthy Korean dishes and nostalgic meals that evoke their childhood when family elders reigned in the kitchen.
