CAVITE CITY. Mendez Nuñez and Cavite City celebrated their respective foundation days while Maragondon commemorated the 160th anniversary of the birth of Hen. Emiliano L. Riego de Dios on Saturday.
Cavity celebrated its 453rd Founding Anniversary and 84th Charter Day with the theme “Cavite City: Constantly Rising, Constantly Developing.”
“I believe that with our cooperation, we can go even further. Cavite City will continue to move forward and become a model of development,” Mayor Denver Chua said.
Mendez Nunez celebrated its 149th year with an Alay Lakad led by Mayor Francisco ‘Cocoy’ Mendoza Jr. staff and other officials of the local government together with various civil society organizations.
Maragondon also unveiled the monument of Cor. Vicente L. Riego de Dios at the town plaza in Barangay Poblacion. At the same time, the town held an Alay Lakad 2024 with the theme “Walk for the Victorious Hero” participated by various sectors.
