ANGELES CITY—Mayor Carmelo  Lazatin, Jr. led the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the two state-of-the-art computer laboratories in public schools.

Among the schools that opened their new computer labs are the Angeles City National Trade School and the Angeles City National High School.

Funded by the city government, two more computer labs at Northville 15 Integrated School and Angeles City Senior High School are also set to open tomorrow, August 7, 2024.

The new four state-of-the-art computer laboratories are part of the ICT Modernization Program of Mayor Lazatin, one of his campaign promises, underscoring the importance of technology in providing quality education.

Each laboratory is equipped with 40 computers. For Angeles City High School and Northville 15 Integrated School, it will designate three rooms each as computer laboratories, and two rooms each for Angeles City National Trade School Junior High School and Angeles City National Trade School Senior High School.

Apart from the 40 computers in each lab, the city government also provided computer tables, chairs, printers, air conditioning units, smart televisions, and fiber optics internet connection. To recall, it was during the stint of Mayor Lazatin that the first-class Angeles City Library was also established.
