Caloocan gov’t offers students get free haircut

THE Caloocan City government has resumed its annual Balik Eskwela: Libreng Gupit program for the benefit of students in public schools in the north and south zones.

The free haircut program will be held until Aug. 22, and is available for students, teachers, and parents.

Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan said the free haircut was one of his administration’s initiatives to encourage the youth to focus on their studies and away from other distractions.

Malapitan also gave assurance that the city government has programs in place to better assist all the education stakeholders, from basic education until they have finished college..

Aside from the free haircut program, the city government distributed complete sets of school supplies and bags to thousands of elementary school students.
