City of Dreams Manila highlights delightful treats for every kind of dad

City of Dreams Manila is unwrapping exceptional Father’s Day exclusives to celebrate their special day. Every kind of dad is spoiled for choice, whether it be dining, staycation, wellness, or shopping thrills.

Nobu Manila 

A celebrity-inspired weekend brunch or dinner awaits dads at the Manila outpost of this globally renowned brand, which highlights the New-Style Japanese cuisine of celebrity Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. 

At the dedicated Father’s Day brunch on June 16, fathers can enjoy unlimited helpings of Nobu signatures that are offered in all Nobu restaurants around the world, such as Black Cod Butter Lettuce and Signature Sashimi Trio: Tuna Matsuhisa, Yellow Tail Jalapeño, and Salmon Karashi Su Miso (tart miso mustard sauce) –– and baked slipper lobster, Kobe Smash Burgers with aji amarillo aioli from an all-you-can-eat a la carte menu that complements the buffet spread.

Equally worthy of attention are the Whole Roasted Wagyu Brisket and Wagyu Chuck Roll that come with a choice of custom Nobu sauces. Seafood lovers can indulge in the Irish Gallagher oysters, blue crabs, and shrimps on ice.  A whole tuna, freshly cut and expertly prepared sashimi, sushi and nigiri alongside a display of assorted premium chef’s selection of nigiri, sushi and maki rolls served with Nobu custom sauces, are the buffet’s pièce de résistance. The brunch spread also extends to the restaurant’s cabanas, where grilled pork ribs and kushiyaki or skewered and grilled items: assorted vegetables, chicken skin, chicken thighs and salmon belly are prepared on a robata grill, in an al fresco setting.

Nobu Manila’s Father’s Day brunch on June 16 is at P4,388 net per person and includes unlimited non-alcoholic beverages. For celebrations a day earlier, the regular Nobu brunch is at P3,499 net per person. Brunch service is from 11:30 am to 3 pm. 

For dinner celebrations, Nobu Manila offers a seven-course dinner tasting menu (P8,871.43 net per person). Nobu’s dinner service is from 5 pm to 10 pm from Sunday to Thursday and until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Crystal Dragon 

Foodie dads will likewise enjoy Cantonese and regional Chinese specialties at Crystal Dragon, which offers a Father’s Day a la carte menu available at lunch and dinner from June 10 to 16. An ode to the head of the family, the inviting menu consists of Deep-fried Stuffed Crab Claw rolled in phyllo kataifi (phyllo dough) and served with plum chili sauce; Double-boiled Pork Ribs with dry scallop, peanut, lotus root, red dates, wolfberries and bamboo pith; Wok-seared Australian Lamb Rack with homemade mint sauce; Szechuan-style Oven Roast Grouper with assorted mushroom and roots vegetables; and Chilled Bird’s Nest with monk fruit and dry lily bulb.

Indulgent in every bite, wok-seared Australian Lamb Rack with homemade mint sauce is one of Crystal Dragon’s dishes especially created for Father’s Day.

Fathers dining on June 16 will receive a special amenity from the award-winning restaurant. Crystal Dragon is open daily from 12 noon to 11 pm.

The Café 

Fete dad with a culinary journey that showcases a curated buffet spread of local and international cuisine at Hyatt Regency Manila’s interactive show-kitchen restaurant, The Café. The buffet, which is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, highlights new stations starting June 10 — made-to-order tacos at the Mexican corner, action stations that freshly prepare Caesar salad and roast beef sliders for lunch. Dinner service highlights a carving station that serves roast beef sirloin, a grill station of mixed kebabs, Chinese barbecue station, and a sauté station offering a flambé of shrimp with tequila, and for Korean food lovers, a dedicated station offering favorite specialties, Japanese and Indian dishes, a selection of seafood on ice, and a dedicated station for soft serve ice cream are offered for both lunch and dinner buffet service. 

Honor dads on their special day with a toast of free-flowing local draft beer, and red and white house wines offered at The Café’s lunch and dinner buffets.

Inclusive of free-flowing juices, local draft beer, red and white house wines at lunch (12 noon to 3 p.m.) and dinner (5:30 p.m. to11 p.m.), the buffet is priced at P1,950 net and P3,150 net, respectively, per person. Breakfast buffet (6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.) is available for P1,400 net per person, which comes with free-flowing coffee and tea.

Nüwa Manila, Nobu Hotel Manila, and Hyatt Regency Manila

Spoil dad with a well-deserved staycation at City of Dreams Manila’s Forbes Travel Guide-rated hotels, which are offering special rates for the occasion starting at P9,698 net for either a King Bed or two Twin-Bed room at Hyatt Regency Manila; P10,700 net for a Nobu deluxe room with city view; and P18,200 net for a Nüwa deluxe room. 

The overnight stay package is for two adults and two children (12 years old and below), which already comes with a complimentary breakfast, fully stocked and free maxibar, and a bottle of wine as special welcome amenity. The promotion’s booking period is until June 15, 2024, with stay period until June 16, 2024.
