Tag Media Group, a company that operates and manages various businesses, has opened Fino Gas, a Petron Gasul franchise, in Calauan, Laguna.
The venture began when entrepreneur Andrew Troy Nicolas faced difficulty finding a reliable supplier of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). After searching the community and failing to find a satisfactory option, Nicolas decided to take matters into his own hands.
Nicolas discussed the idea with his mother-in-law, who has 40 years of experience as a retailer. Inspired by her background, they aimed to establish a new business that would better serve the Calauan community.
Fino Gas will manage eight retailers in Calauan and extend its services to commercial establishments in nearby municipalities and cities.
Petron Gasul is the Philippines’ leading LPG brand. Since the 1960s, it has been an innovator in the LPG industry, offering the first bottled LPG. The company’s clean-burning LPG, a mixture of propane and butane gas, is used for cooking, lighting and industrial applications.
“Trusted by millions of Filipino households, Petron Gasul’s LPG tanks feature a laser-printed seal to ensure they are leak-free, tamper-evident, and contain the exact weight,” the company said in a statement.
“Petron Gasul cylinders are manufactured to meet stringent safety standards, including wall thickness, weld integrity, and valve fitting,” it said.
Fino Gas said it is committed to supporting the Calauan community.
