Bayan Academy, with the support of J.P. Morgan, launched #InDemandPH to address the evolving needs of the global workforce.

The program empowers individuals in underserved communities with essential skills for eight priority industries identified by TESDA and industry associations.

Tourism, IT-BPM, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, electronics, transportation and logistics, and health and wellness are among the industries projected for significant growth.

#InDemandPH equips participants for the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and prepares them for emerging jobs.

Through industry-customized curricula, the program prioritizes adaptability and flexibility, ensuring participants remain relevant in their fields.

Over 13,000 individuals have participated, with 11,000 earning credentials, significantly increasing their employability.

The average monthly wage for placed or promoted participants is $303, uplifting their lives and communities.

#InDemandPH originated from the 2018 to 2022 National Technical Education and Skills Development Plan (NTESDP) formulated by TESDA with various stakeholders.

Bayan Academy collaborated with TESDA on a previous project, “Revamping the Vocational Schools System in the Philippines,” which laid the groundwork for #InDemandPH.

Launched in 2021, #InDemandPH aims to institutionalize the area-based, demand-driven tech-voc education and training strategy of TESDA.
