Security Bank, one of the country’s best capitalized private universal banks, was included in Prosple’s “Top 100 Employers for Fresh Graduates” list.

The Bank ranked seventh in the list, a leap from 56th last year.

Prosple, an international platform facilitating connections between students, graduates and employers, conducts an annual evaluation to discern organizations that offer optimal opportunities and nurturing environment for fresh graduates.

Prosple’s methodology was refined this year to reflect not just employers’ popularity, but also their quality.

The ranking combines data from submitted applications, page views, and graduate reviews to provide university students with an objective and comprehensive guide for their future careers.

“Our approach combines the dual facets of popularity and quality to evaluate each employer’s internship and graduate programs comprehensively. Popularity, constituting 75 percent of the assessment, reflects the engagement and interest garnered through page views and applications across all Prosple platforms,” Prosple head of partnerships Yohanne Esguerra said.

“The remaining 25 percent, dedicated to quality, is derived from Graduate Satisfaction Reviews conducted within the company, offering valuable insights into the employee experience. This robust methodology underscores our commitment to delivering insightful rankings and empowering students globally to pursue the best career opportunities, especially for our Filipino fresh grads,” said Esguerra.

Security Bank said its ascent in the ranking reflects its commitment to continuous enhancement and to nurturing young talent and fostering a supportive work environment.

The achievement underscores Security Bank’s strategic investments in people transformation projects including its industry-leading Future of Work (FoW) hybrid work arrangement, Employee Value Proposition (EVP) “You Matter” and Darwinbox-powered HR integrated technology platform, dubbed HeRO.

“Security Bank values the potential of fresh graduates,” said Security Bank executive vice president and chief people officer Nerissa Berba.

“At Security Bank, our commitment to continuous improvement is unwavering. We are committed to evolving our programs and initiatives to ensure an even more engaging and enriching experience for the young professionals,” Berba said.
