The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) led by president Dr. Cecilio Pedro delivered free medical services to the residents of Barangay 279 in Caloocan City on July 7, 2024.
The initiative was in response to the request of Barangay chairman Marlon Palmere.
FFCCCII staff, five doctor, and ten dentists provided comprehensive medical consultations, treatments and free medicines to the beneficiaries.
About 208 general patients received medical attention, 151 patients underwent tooth extractions and 220 pairs of presbyopic glasses were distributed.
A total of 579 patients benefited from the community outreach program.
The event is part of FFCCCII’s commitment to giving back to mainstream society and supporting marginalized and vulnerable groups.
The organization continues to play a crucial role in providing vital services and assistance to communities in need.
