In its efforts to support up-and-coming entrepreneurs, multinational electronic cigarette company RELX International has launched an online academy offering business courses.
The Philippines was selected as the pilot area for the launch of RELX Academy, owing in large part to the strong presence of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country. The RELX Academy, in partnership with edX, offers specially curated courses crafted by top universities such as the University of British Columbia and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, among others.
Among the over a dozen courses participants can take online include Entrepreneurial Operations: Launching a Startup; Becoming an Entrepreneur; Business Foundations; Entrepreneurship 101: Who is your customer; and more.
Participants can also look forward to special complimentary webinars with renowned speakers as part of the bonus program with the RELX Academy.
Alongside equipping entrepreneurs with the necessary skills and know-how to succeed in business, RELX will also provide Academy graduates interested in operating a RELX store with additional support and guidance, in the form of design and furniture support as well as opening promotion and training – inclusive of a limited-time franchise fee waiver.
