A wholly-owned subsidiary of International Container Terminal Services Inc. in Africa acquired an additional 10-percent stake in the operator of Matadi Gateway Terminal in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
ICTSI Africa B.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ICTSI, concluded the acquisition of an additional 10-percent stake in International Container Terminal Services Inc.-DR Congo on May 25.
“The 10 percent was acquired from another shareholder, La Societe D’Investissement et de Placement SARL, and such increased IABV’s ownership of IDRC from 52 percent to 62 percent,” ICTSI said.
ICTSI in 2014 won the concession for a new terminal along the Congo River in Matadi, Democratic Republic of the Congo. It signed a joint venture with La Societe De Gestion Immobiliere Lengo to establish ICTSI DR Congo S.A.
