Chinese New Year tradition

Rev. Father Wong Sheng Tian of the Sheng Lian Temple in Quezon City holds dragon figurines and burns incense which are considered an offering to deities, Buddhas, and their ancestors. The aromatic smoke symbolizes rising prayers and devotion, reaching the spiritual realm and carrying one’s wishes and gratitude in connection with the celebration of the Chinese New Year.
