The country’s candidate for this year’s Miss Earth made it to the top 5 for the Best Appearance award.
Yllana Marie Aduana joined other beauty queens from Mongolia, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia.
In a Facebook post, Miss Earth said the five representatives have the chance to double their voting points for a day for the Miss People’s Choice award.
The Best Appearance winner which will be announced on Dec. 12.
The winner of the Miss People’s Choice award, on the other hand, will automatically get a spot in the semi-finals.
The Miss Earth 2023 coronation night is slated for Dec. 22 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center.
Aduana is aiming to bring home a fifth Miss Earth crown, after Karla Paula Henry (2008), Jamie Herrell (2014), Angelia Ong (2015), and Karen Ibasco (2017).
