Two Chinese nationals were shot and killed by unidentified riding-in-tandem gunmen along Taft Avenue in Manila, while two bystanders were hit by stray bullets, Manila police operatives said on Thursday.
One of the victims, Wu Hai Dong, died on the spot while his companion identified as Yi Yan Shou was declared dead on arrival at the Philippine General Hospital.
Hit by stray builets were Carla Joyce Chan, 24, and Abegael Amomonpon Conde, 19. They were rushed to the same hospital.
Police investigators said the suspects were onboard a black Yamaha Mio.
One was wearing a black jacket and a black helmet, while another had a white and blue jacket with a white helmet on.
According to investigators, the two victims were walking along Taft Avenue near Araullo University when the suspects attacked them.
It is still not known the motive behind the killing as police are still investigating the incident.
