GMA Artist Center’s Gabbi Garcia is slowly making a mark in show business. After landing the iconic role of Sang’gre Alena in GMA’s highly successful telefantasya Encantadia, Gabbi has become more in-demand for magazine covers, features and product endorsements.
At the young age of 18, with a successful teleserye in her portfolio, being an ambassador for an international hair product and the cover of sold out magazines, where is Gabbi Garcia headed to now?
As if living out every young girl’s dream, Gabbi is set to fly to Europe as part of her commitment to #MakingMega as Mega Magazine’s first ever Mega Style cover. Originally a digital publication, Mega Style carefully handpicked her to grace the first-ever print edition. She will be going to Nice, France for an avant-garde photo shoot and will star in a 45-minute documentary and a three-minute fashion film to be shot by Emmy-award-winning director and producer Mike Carandang.
“This is going to be my first time in France, so I’m very excited. Being handpicked by Mega is such an honor, and I can’t wait to try different looks for the magazine cover and enjoy this European experience,” she reveals.
What is her secret to becoming one of today’s in-demand cover girls, Gabbi shares “Doing my homework as an artist, keeping fit, staying true to myself and taking care if my looks by sticking to the beauty products that I trust like Gluta C and Pantene.”
Meanwhile, Gabbi is in GMA Network’s Sunday noontime variety program Sunday PinaSaya.
