BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya—At least 57 elementary and secondary schools in the province are expected to receive additional books to boost learning among their students.
Samuel Soliven, schools division superintendent of the Department of Education, said the 34,0213 books were acquired through their partnership with the provincial government.
“We are very fortunate to have a school partner like the provincial government under the leadership of Gov. Carlos Padilla,” Soliven said.
The books, which will be used by Grades 2 and 3 for all subjects and Grades 8 and 9 for Filipino subjects, will be distributed in various elementary and secondary schools in the towns of Alfonso Castaneda, Ambaguio, Aritao, Bagabag, Bambang, Bayombong, Dupax del Norte, Dupax del Sur, Quezon, Solano, Sta. Fe, Villaverde, Diadi and Kasibu.
