Ford Motor Company has appointed Pedro Simoes as the new managing director for Ford Group Philippines, effective December 1, succeeding Michael “Mike” Breen. Currently the marketing, commercial vehicle, and fleet director for Ford Middle East, Simoes will relocate to Manila and report to Yukontorn ‘Vickie’ Wisadkosin, president of Ford ASEAN and Asia Pacific Distributor Markets. In his role, he will focus on further driving growth, enhancing the customer experience, and strengthening relationships with dealer partners – continuing on the footsteps set forth by Breen. Wisadkosin commended Simoes for his strong track record in brand growth and market expansion and expressed gratitude for Breen’s exceptional contributions to Ford’s success in the Philippines. Simoes, who joined Ford in 2016, brings a wealth of automotive experience from various leadership roles across multiple markets.
