NLEX Corporation’s annual road maintenance program is in full swing, focused on providing motorists with a more secure and comfortable travel experience along the expressway.
Maintaining the infrastructure’s integrity has always been a key priority for the company. A portion of toll fees is dedicated to these essential upkeep activities, ensuring the roads remain safe and well-kept, in line with the company’s commitment to excellent customer service.
The ongoing pavement repair program targets to resurface 63,195.80 sqm of NLEX and 39,201.14 sqm of SCTEX. Areas with minor damages will undergo patching works, while more extensive repairs, including asphalt resurfacing, are scheduled to be completed by September, benefiting thousands of drivers daily.
Additionally, nine (9) NLEX bridges and overpasses have been successfully repaired to maintain their structural integrity, including critical links like the Pasig-Potrero bridge, a 720-meter vital connection between Subic and Clark.
Routine maintenance activities, such as refurbishing roadway furniture, including lighting, fences, lane markings, and signage, are also being carried out to ensure the expressway remains in excellent condition, guiding and protecting motorists.
