Adamson,  Army Altama score wins at vivo 3×3 Basketball Challenge

Adamson University and Army Altama ruled the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively, at the vivo 3×3 Basketball Challenge Year 2 held recently at the SM Mall of Asia.

Both teams underwent the usual struggle to the finals, beginning their respective campaigns on July 21, 2024, at SM City Fairview Atrium in a 16-team first leg.

With each of the men’s and women’s divisions, featuring eight teams, they were all divided into two pools for a round-robin format to highlight thrilling matchups.

Adamson eventually emerged victorious in the men’s division with a 21-14 win over Sports Flooring GK.

In the women’s division, Army Altama secured a hard-fought 19-18 win over New Zealand Creamery to bag the trophy.

The champion teams claimed P30,000 in each division, vivo Y28 smartphones, plus a trophy and medals. The runners-up took home P20,000, vivo Y18 smartphones, and received a trophy and medals.

In addition, the second runners-up were Enverga Wildcats (men’s) and Uratex Dream (women’s). They were awarded vivo Y03 smartphones, ₱15,000 in cash, medals, and trophies. The third runners-up, Stay Groovie (men’s) and RTU Lady Thunders (women’s), also received vivo Y03 smartphones, medals, and trophies.
