Tesla makes it official in PH with First Experience Center

Uptown Parade is the location of the country’s first Tesla hub, marking the brand’s official entry to the Philippines. With the promise to streamline the ownership journey, encompassing everything from sales and delivery to maintenance services, customers now have convenient  access to all their Tesla needs – under one roof.

As part of this launch, Tesla has announced the upcoming arrival of its best-selling Model Y and Model 3 in the Philippines. These vehicles will be showcased at an exclusive pop-up event in Uptown Mall’s level one atrium until November 15. The Model Y, recognized as the world’s best-selling vehicle in 2023, combines impressive range, performance, and safety features. With a spacious interior capable of accommodating up to five passengers and their belongings, it offers 2.1 cubic meters of cargo space. The Model Y accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and boasts a range of up to 533 kilometers (WLTP), with a starting price of P2,369,000.

Meanwhile, the upgraded Model 3 features a sleek exterior optimized for aerodynamics and a refreshed interior. It maintains its thrilling performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds while offering an impressive range of up to 629 kilometers on a single charge. The starting price for the Model 3 is P2,109,000.

In addition to sales, Tesla will launch a Design Studio in the Philippines, allowing customers to customize their Model 3 or Model Y according to their preferences. Deliveries of these vehicles are expected to begin in early 2025.

Tesla is committed to fostering a greener future for the Philippines. Plans are underway to enhance the Experience Centre, expand service and support, and develop charging infrastructure throughout the country. The first indoor Supercharger station, featuring four Superchargers, will also open soon at Uptown Mall, with more stations planned for strategic locations nationwide. Tesla’s Supercharging network will enable Model Y owners to charge up to 120 kilometers in just five minutes, reinforcing the company’s promise of convenient and efficient long-distance travel. Charging will be available on a pay-per-use basis at P19 per kWh, with a full charge costing approximately P1,140.
