Filipinos aim to cement dominance at World M6

The Philippines is aiming for the fifth consecutive M-Series title at the M6 World Championship to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from Nov-28 to Dec. 5 for its Swiss Stage.

The country will be represented by powerhouse teams Fnatic ONIC PH (FNOP) and Aurora MLBB (RORA) who recently won Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) – Philippines Season 14.

In line with this year’s official battle cry #PinasPinakamalakas, the league is preparing a series of activities to celebrate the MLBB community’s passion and loyalty as they rally behind the Filipino teams.

The M6 World Championship, with the theme “Greater Than Ever,” features 16 international teams to compete and vie for the title, and the biggest share of the increased prize pool worth USD 1 million or PHP 55 million.

Migz Del Gallego, MOONTON Games Head of Marketing for Esports (Philippines), said, “Filipino teams don’t just win championships — they create winning metas that shape the global competitive landscape. With FNOP and RORA representing the country, we have a powerful opportunity to defend our legacy and showcase once again why the Philippines is the strongest on the international stage.”

PRECIOUS FANS

The MLBB Professional League (MPL) Philippines has organized numerous initiatives, including the Road to M6 events, which bring fans closer to the teams. Across the country, fans can gather for nationwide viewing parties, uniting communities to cheer on FNOP and RORA as they take on top global contenders.

To energize the local MLBB community, a Road to M6 Community Tournament will commence today to give Filipino fans the opportunity to compete and win an all-expenses-paid trip to the M6 Grand Finals Day in Malaysia. This tournament provides an exciting platform for fans to test their skills and experience the thrill of MLBB competition firsthand.

The Road to M6 Community Tournament is structured with an exciting format, promising intense matchups throughout its stages. Here’s a look at the format:

Group Stage (November 25-28): Four groups in a single round-robin format, with the top two teams from each group moving to the Playoffs.

Playoffs (November 29-30): Single elimination, featuring best-of-1 Quarterfinals, best-of-3 Semifinals, and a best-of-5 Grand Final to crown the champion.
